Night Walk is a Google-sponsored (and probably developed) experience using Google Maps Street View, audio clips, and video/photography to create a digital “guided tour” of Marseilles, France. My daughter calls this “Alien Supermarket” and I don’t have the heart to correct her. The environmental design is top notch, and I love the concept, but I couldn’t get into it. I can’t help but feel like this would have been more successful as either a full- fledged survival or adventure game, or a pure walking sim; as it stands, it felt like too little of either.Read more...

One of the first walking sims I ever played, and still one of the best. Lovely sound and hand drawn graphics. The glass pavilion is worth a visit. The developer contributed to Oases.Read more...
