Hel is a cool idea: a procedurally generated Norse afterlife where you wander through ominous ruins in the dark night. In practice it’s really nicely done graphically, but super easy to get lost and turned around, and the options are unpolished (it froze for me a couple times). There’s a way to complete the game but I haven’t done it yet…I’ll have to come back to this one.Read more...

Beautiful but confusing procedurally-generated walking sim that puts you in a really beautiful forest setting. I really love the graphics and ambiance, but never understood the prompts you get to accomplish goals. Regardless, this is a really beautifula nd relaxing experience.Read more...

This is a really cool concept - in the world of Myst, you are writing a book that describes the features of an island (called an “age” in Myst), and then you can explore it. Nice blending of procedural generation, walking sim, and video game mashup. The source code & Unity project is also available.Read more...

Sort of “art within art” - the game itself puts you in an art gallery as a guest, and the thing itself is an art game with generated spaces and art. Really cool.Read more...
